This is the first Connie Mason book I have read... I did enjoy it... so much so that I purchased the other 2 books from this series. While as the first book was enjoyable... the other two just didn't stand up to the first. The second, To Tame a Renegade, was a tedious read, and I have to confess that I was skipping pages. The only reason I read the third, To Tempt a Rogue, was because I had already purchased it. I have to say that this last book contained over 200 pages of sex/love scenes... and it makes you wonder why a writer such as Connie Mason, who is capable of creating a good story, feels the need to cram sex scenes onto nearly every page. Whatever happened to romance? Or... has it been taken over by oral sex without my knowing it??? What can I say except that I feel cheated. I can't remember the last time I actually felt such dislike for the hero of a book... vain, conceited, arrogant and just plain stupid. Ryan Delaney possesses a one track mind, and all through the book I kept wishing he'd vanish. This book is full of repetitions, and not very interesting. I far preferred Norm Tucker (a minor character) and still think he was the better man.
