An interesting idea that drew me along. I wanted to see how it would end. Keith writes great descriptive scenes. The Caribbean setting is brought to life and the breathless anticipation of a hurricane is brilliantly evocative (if you've ever experienced it). My only criticism is the lack of dialogue. Whilst it brings a dreamlike detachment to the story but diminishes the power of the characters. Overall though, worth a read and I'll certainly look into other works by the same author.

Thoroughly recommend this book. Fantastic idea for story - keeps you guessing till the end. I expected a different ending though!
