Beautiful illustrations - will appeal to all children betwen 2 and 5 years of age. Encourages children to use their imagination.

Who can resist such beautiful drawings and delightful text? Simple but my little boy loves it and grabs his bucket and spade everytime we read it.

A Future Classic 10 Dec 2007

This is the most delightful book with illustrations to please both children and parents. It manages to be both educational and totally absorbing for pre-schoolers and should be another classic in the mould of " A Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "The Tiger Who Came To Tea" More please, Thomas.
