We use a set of these for guided reading as part of a full term project on Titanic with year 6 pupils. It is an excellent book - very comprehensive, well laid out text. There is an extensive range of information, and this is presented in such a variety of ways there is something accessible to everyone. The hard back makes it durable. The paper is of a high quality. The print is very clear and easy to read. There is an excellent choice of coloured diagrams, pictures and photographs. Highly recommended to anyone from middle primary years upward who wants a clear and simple introduction to Titanic, and is excellent value for money.

This book tells the Titanic story to children without patronising them.
The illustrations complement the story.
It is also a factual story presented in a continuous text, which my 7 year old, reluctant reader, finds easier to tackle.
It is the kind of quality I have grown to expect from Usborne.

Excellent read for all ages!
