'Falling' is great fun, and it genuinely can be taken at whatever pace you want. The instructions about how to deal the cards were not immediately very clear (at least not to me) and I had to re-read several times, wondering "how many" and "when do I stop", and "when do the players start using their cards"? Well, you literally just keep on dealing one card to each player, and the player can use his card - as a 'rider' - the moment he gets it, or keep it in his stack; the dealer just keeps going round each player until, eventually, you deal the 'ground' cards and there's only one player left. This is how the dealer controls the game, you can deal slowly, or quickly, or tease the players by alternating the speed at which you deal the cards. This keeps them on their toes! I would advise playing the game on beize or tablecloth, otherwise, if you're playing the game quickly (which only takes maybe a few turns to get the hang of it) the cards will fly everywhere on a polished table! Can't wait to play this game again - I agree with the instructions, which state it's most fun with 4-8 people. I would say 5-6 is best.
