Seriously, after at least 10 years of looking for excellent watch that I would simply love - my search mission has finally paid off!!! I was for the most part in Citizen world last several years and my current model I have is Calibre 9000 that works just perfect. However, it was not my most favorite watch since it came with metal band and I did not like original Citizen leather strap - other ones were not perfect fit. Anyhow, I started searching recently as I felt it was the time for the perfect watch I always wanted. I found something close to us (Armani AR0635) but it was way to big when I saw some of the pictures.
I always loved Swiss watches but were out of my price range - Tissot, Vistorinox, Tag Hauer... and finding Tissot V8 with black leather strap was IT! I found it... Watch itself is beautiful and is very manly sporty looking piece. Strap is little bit stiff but from what I've read so far it will get fine after few weeks. Watch itself is Swiss made, along with quartz and what I love about this movement is that final finish is perfect. Seconds are right on the money and aligned with dots and marks where they actually should be. I definitely hated previous watches that were misaligned. (To be clear - Citizen is also perfectly aligned on everything). Further down - black dial simply makes it easy to read what the time is. Tachymeter works like a charm so there is really NOTHING that someone would not LOVE about this watch. If you like it on the picture I guarantee you will love it on your hand.
After seeing how the leather strap is on this watch I decided is to purchase Citizen's 22mm after-market leather strap as having a leather strap is a MUST if you would like to become professional sporty looking type of person).

UPDATE on 10/25/2011
Watch still works :) but my above expressions definitely vanished as the following occurred so far:
substantial scratches on the inner shinny circle near glass out of the normal use and wear - one star down;
leather strap edge on one of the sides has ripped and small long thin piece just fell off opening up real leather underneath to be visible - almost not visible - no stars taken down...
Citizen Calibre 9000 I had before STILL looks and shows better built and better appearance preservation and quality of materials on it... I know, I know... Tissot is Tissot but I am just saying...
