Product Description

A stylish watch with a classic look and feel, the Tissot Class Dream White Dial Men's Watch should definitely be added to your watch collection. The watch begins with a stainless steel case and a fixed stainless steel bezel. These stainless steel elements surround pristine white dial with gold-toned hour markers and hands powered by reliable quartz movement. The dial, which is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, offers a date display window at the 3 'o clock position. A brown leather band straps this watch to the wrist, while a tang buckle clasp ensures its secure placement.

Beautiful watch 1 Jun 2011

Great watch to have the picture simply put does not do it justice. First of all I did a bit of looking around online and found that the watch with that spec was a brown leather strap and gold colour numerals. It looks here silver and black strap. I wanted a brown leather strap as I already have watches with black leather straps so took the plunge and sure enough, gold numerals and brown strap.

The face itself is a little larger than the picture shows and I don't think would suit a person with a small or thin wrist. It is not one of those chunky watches and is very much a dress watch or one you would wear with a shirt as its nice and thin so will not get caught on shirts or jackets. The glass is sapphire crystal (Something I don't think it mentions here) and all in all looks like a nice well presented watch to wear on a casual night out.

Very happy I bought it especially considering a Raymond Weil for example would have set me back about £600!

Unbeatable price/quality ratio 24 Nov 2011
By Nikoloz Cholokashvili - Published on Amazon.com
I bought this watch recently, it was my first watch purchase so I did quite a bit of research and thought I would share a little summary for others in my shoes.
Tissot is on the lower end of upscale watch market brands, do not let it confuse you though and lead you into thinking that it is either low quality or will cause others to frown on your watch. The upscale market for watches include watches that cost several thousand dollars. If you are reading this review you probably are not planning to pay that much and you are in luck! Tissot is excellent brand to get most quality for you buck. In fact this watch is ridicilously cheap even for Tissot, a rough estimate of average price of their watches would be around 400$. Of course there is a reason why this watch is cheaper than others, it looks great in real life - an excellent watch for a dressy attire, I actually prefer its looks to more expensive ones, but the less advertised feature is that its movement is not all that great. A watch movement is the most important feature of a watch, its basically the mechanism that makes the watch tick. The movement of this watch is 805.112, look it up on ETA website, under quartz movement -> fashionline (Just google "ETA swiss movement" in google, not sure I am allowed to post links here), too much of the movement is encased in plastic and there are no jewels in the parts. What it means is that it is not very durable when compared to other watches. Plastic is self-explanatory but let me explain what do jewels have to do inside the watches. No they are not there for decoration purposes :) The thing is jewels are more durable and they can be smoothed out better than steel, meaning using it in places where traction is involved can reduce traction and therefore reduce wear. All in all these watches won't last as long as some others, but do not cost nearly as much as well. Do not let me confuse you though, it is still swiss made, which means it complies to very strict requirements and ensures its high quality and accuracy and will probably last at least 5 years. I believe they all have Tissot's 2 year global warranty too. If you want a watch to last longer than that you should probably not look at quartz watches at all, but rather check out mechanical watches. But that's a completely different story.
I have actually bought this watch in retail outlet not amazon and paid full 215$ for it and still believe I made a great deal. Don't miss up on this opportunity, you can't beat its price/quality.
