Frances R. Mitchell was born and raised in Oakland, California. Early and repeated abuse muffled Ms. Mitchell's ability to communicate and share her God-given gifts and talents, which lead to severe depression. She began writing as a means of expression and healing.
One day a group of women suggested that she turn her notes into a book and become a published writer. Her first novel, "Tired of Crying", is an emotion filled work of fiction based on the author's tumultuous life. Growing up in Oakland, California, USA has given Ms. Mitchell much material to work with. She is in the process of completing her second novel. Ms. Mitchell has also written children's books.
