This book reminds me of talking with my great grandmother and grandfather. It's wise, it's funny, and if you're not careful you might learn something from the tales. This book isn't going to tell you how to have the perfect organic garden. It's not going to say anything about hardscaping or landscape architecture. Instead, this little volume is full of fun and insightful tidbits from days gone by. The book itself is small, thin, and easy to carry. It's a perfect size to mail as a gift (won't cost a fortune) and is a pleasant way to spend a little learning (or reminiscing) time.

The book arrived very quickly by first class mail. I was pleased. I was surprised that the book was so small. Obviously I didn't read the dimensions. Other than that, the book was as described.
