Once children can pedal for themselves the surround can be removed or retracted to give the child a more independent journey (with parental supervision of course). It has a brake for safety, a utility basket and a cushioned seat it isdesigned for children from around 18 months up to 3 years ( do not use until your child can sit up).

I brought this for my son as a 2nd birthday present. He loves it but i find that it's not as easy to control as i would've expected. It would be good if there was a way of switching between letting my son control the steering and controlling myself. But apart from that, it's a good buy.

Excellent product, well made and good value. Once my grandson had been put in it, we couldn't get him out, he wanted to stay in it all day. It was his first birthday present - money well spent.
