Tippitoes Swing Shut Safety Gate continues our efforts to keep home a safe place. This lightweight Gate will fit doorways between 75-79cm; with the addition of one extension this extends to 85-88cm. A further extension kit will bring the opening size to 95-99 cms. Extension Kits can be ordered separately. Please note no more than two extension kits should be used on one gate. Pressure mounted and presented in fresh white metalwork enhanced by silver/grey plastics, the Swing Shut Gate is suitable for children up to 24 months. SG5 Standard Gates for 75-79cm The Swing Shut Gate is also available in two addition sizes to suit the smaller doorway: SG3 Narrow Gates for 68.5-75 cm SG4 Extra Narrow Gates for 61-67 cm SG3/4/5 - White/Grey

Fitted right it will close and lock, swing itself shut. Slowly maybe, but it shouldn't chop feet off, should it! These gates were designed with TLC! Well worth the extra pound!!!

Excellent product. Easy to install and works well. One handed opening is easily possible and the swing shut feature is brilliant. Thoroughly recommended.

Misleading to say pressure mounted 30 July 2011

I bought these as I didnt want to ruin our walls but have found that you actually need to screw the cups (which the gate sits in) to the wall, so they're not 'pressure mounted' like other stairgates at all.
