Book Description

Dom Judd is the hottest man in Hollywood. He'll do anything to get out of being a sexy Santa in Hollywood’s famous Tinseltown parade…but can he persuade his brother to take the reins?

Waitress Clare has just been dumped. Playing Rudolph is hardly going to help her single status - until she sees how drop-dead gorgeous Father Christmas is!

Laney Allen has shot to fame, but hates the limelight - and it seems only Santa can help her overcome her stage-fright…

As the snow falls and sleigh bells ring, whose Tinseltown dreams will come true?

I hope this seasonal short story will make your Christmas merry and bright! Love, Victoria Fox x

More About the Author

Hi! Come see me at - and if you'd like to be updated when I have a new book out, sign up at I'm also on, and spend too much time mucking about on Twitter @VFoxWrites. I'd love us to be in touch.

By day I live in London. By night I relax in my fantasy LA mansion, sipping Krug in a Jacuzzi and watching a bare-chested man clean out my pool. I was born in 1983, went to boarding school in my teens and studied English at university, where I wrote my first (unpublished) bonkbuster: The Hardest Part. It was truly dreadful.

After working in publishing for a few years, I decided to quit and follow my dream...and I haven't looked back since. My best moment as a writer so far was when my idol Jackie Collins said 'Victoria Fox is always a fun read!' That's good enough for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Christmas Hollywood style 17 Dec. 2011
By Dobsew
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Tinseltown is about people who find themselves involved in the Hollywood Christmas Parade in some shape or form and where some find Christmas a hard time of year for different reasons, they discover that really things aren't as bad as they could be and some even find romance.

This is a short story that keeps the momentum going looking at different characters perspectives of what Christmas means to them. All have issues in some shape or form and by welcoming the Christmas spirit each discover that their issues are not too bad, things could be worse.

This is the first story I have ready by the author and considering how short the story was, Victoria Fox managed to detail each character enough for the reader to be interested in them. It is a shame that the story was not longer because I did feel that there could have been a lot more story to tell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bad Santa....! 7 Dec. 2011
By Nicola F (Nic) TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a short, sexy read and just perfect to curl up with at this time of year. The added incentive is that it was another Kindle freebie!

As a first time Fox reader I really enjoyed this festive novel- full of quirky characters, humour and romance. It really brightened up my day and I also think Fox could write about these characters again in a longer novel- they're all really well drawn and we didn't get to know them quite well enough here. I would have liked to have got to know Freddy a little better though... (he sounds yummy!)

Brit Hollywood actor Dom tries his best to get out of playing Santa in a celebrity parade, feeling it's too `Disney' and will ruin his burgeoning career, much to the chagrin of his PA brother, Freddy. Then you have shy Laney, a winner of `America's Next Sensation' (an X-Factor spoof) who really, really *doesn't* want to sing at the parade either- and also inexplicably hates Christmas. Thrown into the mix is Clare, split from her rich-but-dumb ex-boyfriend and in a crappy job and reluctantly talked into playing Rudolph in the parade to earn herself a bit of extra cash. She doesn't quite expect to find Santa so sexy...

For me, this novels humour, innuendo and chemistry made this a winning read and definitely got me in the Christmas spirit. I'll certainly try more books by Victoria Fox in future.

Merry Christmas! x

3.0 out of 5 stars A quick Christmas read. 11 Jan. 2012
By Jemrod
Format:Kindle Edition
Tinseltown is a great quick read, if you are looking for a Christmas story you can read by your Christmas tree & don't have to "think" too much about the plot.

The story is based around (mainly) 3 different characters, who all find themselves taking part in Holywood's annual Tinseltown parade. It focuses on each characters views of Christmas and what the festive season means to them. For one character, Laney Allen, Christmas is a hard time of year, and you learn that she has come to fear all things Christmas. Taking part in the parade is a nerve-racking idea, and with her fear of Christmas, makes the prospect even more fearsome. In the end, the characters paths cross, and lead to some life-renewing conclusions.

I must say, for a quick, simple read, it was fine, but I do feel that it could have been so much more, especially with Laney Allen, there was potential to create a longer, more detailed and enjoyable story.

For a free download, it is worth reading - it won't take long.

3.0 out of 5 stars Tinsel in the Town 12 Dec. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I've just finished another of Victoria's books, 'Temptation Island' and was pleased to see that the same witty style and characterisation was present in this delightful short.

The name, with a double meaning, grabbed my attention, immediately alluding to glamour and celebrity that is so consistent with Victoria. The story follows three characters, Clare, Laney and Dom as they all take part in the celebrity Christmas parade. Even though it is short each characters story is quickly told for the reader and the interaction between each character is explored.

Dubiety over happy endings and mystery surrounding one of the characters will keep you hooked right through. A great short story full of bah humbug-turned-Christmas spirit and enough bonking to maintain the bonkbuster accolade that Victoria is usually given.
