This watch overall is great for daily normal wear for those who don't mind a little extra weight on the wrist. Bit chunky, might be difficult under a sleeve. Big notches on the side could get caught on clothing. The white face is a refreshing contrast to the usual black faces, only disadvantage is unable to view the time from a distance in light.
The screen seems hardy as does the watch in general, will definitely take a few drops and hits. The back light function is a classic bonus, but a cool blue lighting would have been great-instead of the old style fluorescent green light.Chronograph- same as the rest. Tachymeter is static- doesn't move! Finally, the leather strap is a sturdy black strap with a cream-stitch detailing. But might consider changing the strap to something more hardy, a tough resin or thicker strap would be suited more. But still a great watch to have for occasions. Given the name expedition, not sure how it would fair on an expedition apart from telling the time and date!! What else would this watch do?

sturdy construction with what i think is a glass/mineral face. strong leather (water resistant) strap. a good backlight which makes reading the time in absolute darkness a doddle.
i feel that it could be slightly wider considering how deep the watch is (but that's a minor quibble) and the knob that's used to adjust the time is very difficult to pull out to it's third position (to set the minute hand) on my model. the packaging is very nice but the manual is a single piece of paper that's been folded to a tiny size. once you've unraveled it there's no way it'll get folded back to it's original size. no way.
as another reviewer has said it can sometimes be difficult to see the light coloured hands against the creamy coloured dial.
despite this i'm very pleased with it. it feels good on the wrist, isn't too heavy and there are lots of holes so you'll be able to adjust it easily for a snug fit.
nice addition to my collection.

smaller than what I was expecting
A good watch, good quality, but smaller than I expected. The watch case is about 4 cm in diameter, the display is about 3 cm and internal diameter (from 12 to 6) is about 2.5 cm.
