Suitable for an alternative to encourage your child to practice times tables. Didn't really engage my eight year old that much.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny and more!! 1 Feb. 2013
By Anna Elizabeth - Published on
My son likes it. When I was a child, we just learned multiplication facts the hard way; now they have all these gizmos. What's next, a pill you take to learn everything? I was dreading teaching my son the multiplication facts. When his brother (10 years his senior) had to learn them, this wasn't around. I'm glad that it is. Get it. It's worth every penny and then some. One thing: This is a practice/learning app. Playing it only the night before a test is probably better than trying to treat it likes it's the next Mario Brothers or Sonic the Hog game, because any learning game is going to be hard pressed to beat games like that that children often play.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my nephew! 16 July 2012

Cool multiplication facts app. You use tilt the Kindle Fire to control the little characters to select answers. I think the other reviewer (the bad one) didn't get that-- perhaps because she is a not familiar with tilt controls. (Oh right, I see she is a grandmother. No offense, but my grandmother can hardly figure out the remote control, much less tilt controls. No offense, Nana.)

It's sort of like multiplication flash cards in a 3D game. Not bad. I teach third graders, and I
think that they'll like this on the Kindle Fire that we use in the classroom.

Oh and the same company also makes a similar game for addition and subtraction called Arithmemouse Additiion Subtraction.

the thing I loved about this game was that it is divided up by 1s, 2s, 3s etc - so I could isolate the number set my daughter was learning. Very fun and educational.

My son really enjoys this game and it keeps his attention like a "normal" video game. Wonderful job making this game.
