Many of these pictures are stunningly lit and really do justice to the beauty of their subjects,but far too many seem to be just a little too dark, and this obscures the whole focus of the thing,surely: the model.
Having said that,there are some photographs here that deserve to be framed. The lighting and the classic black & white images are often striking. I found some of the full-page facial portraits among the best. If faces are not your focus,then you will still find plenty to enjoy here.

It's a book of marvels, a marvellous book! David Vance is once again a magician in his unique way of exalting the beauty of the male in its outmost perfection. If I had lived in the 16th century, I would have given this book as a gift to Michelangelo and I'm sure he would have been enchanted with it.

Not Good. These guys are not sexy and the book made me feel bored. (and a friend)
The casting was awful and I feel like the posing was thrown together like bad clothes.
The light is great and the book is quality but If you want real masculine men...maybe this is not for you.
