It would be foolish to suppose that backing every horse recommended here will lead to a profit, though it just might. Rather these are horses well worth keeping a close eye open for and backing when the conditions are in their favour.

However, the book is more than a gambler's aid. There are fascinating entries on this year's classics contenders, on the powerful Irish contingent, as well as interviews with trainers and jockeys and trainers to look out for in the future. This year's edition is well up to form and will be a constant companion during the months ahead.
