This is a great DVD. The picture quality varies between tracks, but for the most part, it's not bad. The performance is real quality - on this tour, Bob played 47 gigs out of 49 days (this was the 47th gig), and he looks exhausted, not to mention that he was riddled with cancer. But it didn't stop him from delivering a fantastic show from his heart - you can see and feel his passion. You can also see that the audience are really enjoying this show. This is a MUST for any Bob Marley fan, or indeed, any fan of good music. I often listen to this dvd through my speakers, and it's got to be the best audio/visual I've seen & heared. He departed from his physical body all those years ago, but The Legend truly lives on.

This DVD features the show from the Santa Barbara County Bowl, November 1979. Bob looks physically tired at this performance, but he delivers some fantastic renditions of his classics, I Shot The Sheriff, Ambush and Running Away/Crazy Baldhead (with it`s surprise reprise) are particularly good.

Picture quality is OK, although varies from song to song a little - the previously unseen tracks are noticable sharper - while the sound is generally excellent.

The extra documentry is really just the backstage interview with Bob and Tyrone Downey padded out with a light Rasta/Marley history and reuse of concert footage.

A good DVD release, although the cover art could have been better!

This DVD is loaded with Bob's best tracks unlike the Island releases.
Althouugh I have been listening to Bob's music for 20 years or so I wasnt aware he had performed live for the Survival album.
The video / audio are okay when we consider the period of time the video was taken.

I cant imagine why Island is delaying the release of greatest hits like "Babylon by Bus" and "At the lyceum"
