Product Description

Product Description

Time Warrior is a revolutionary, non-linear approach for dealing with time, as bold as it is fresh and new. Forget whatever "guidebooks" you may have read on time management or personal productivity. Time Warrior is much more than tips and tricks. Steve Chandler has given us an invitation--as well as a challenge--to become something far greater than we are now. To become, in essence, a "style tracker" rather than a "time tracker." Tracking your cognitive style is what makes you a Time Warrior, for only your unique cognitive style can liberate you from the treadmill of linear, limited time.

This book takes you on a 101-chapter journey intended to transmute the base metals of ordinary linear time-consciousness into the gold of the Time Warrior's non-linear vision. You will learn to create for yourself a newfound and more powerful cognitive style that will make time tracking, multi-tasking and other clock-subservient behaviors an unsavory and distant memory.

Time Warriors arrange the "chaos" around them by slowing down--way, way down--and then letting go of people-pleasing, approval-seeking and every shade of mood-based and future-based thinking.

Chandler kicks butt 28 April 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Steve Chandler is one of the most powerful writers I know. I send his work to my clients and always love his direct language and simple style. Rather than confusing you with many concepts and complex ideas, Steve Chandler just uses the gordic knot approach and cuts straight through it all. So you are left with powerful distinctions and mind shifts that allow you to go about your business more effectively and with more fun.
You thought you needed time managment and lots of time and assistance to get your stuff done? Buy this book, relax for the 3 hours it takes to listen to or read through- it will prove much more effective and cheaper.
Time warrior is for any busy bee who wishes to actually be productive and happy- unless you prefer to do it the hard way in which case, stay away from this book. Evelyne Brink. Brink Coaching- Authentic Success for Creative Types.

This is so much more than a time management book. Steve Chandler takes us on a journey into who we really are, (powerful, creative beings) and brings us back with tools and attitudes to choose and create exactly what we want to create with our day.

This is not another time management book about having 'to do' lists and attempting to skilfully cram more in to a busy day. It is a book about deciding what results we are absolutely committed to achieving. If you follow the advice, strategies and methods given in this book you will get the results you want for your day!

Steve Chandler's book is an invitation to step up to Life. I am extremely glad that I bought this ebook.

There are some useful insights and suggestions here, unfortunately they are well buried in this rambling and confused book.

It really could have done with proper editing. The author seems to frequently lose track of his thoughts and he frequently contradicts himself.

One moment time should be seen as non linear, the next you should always do things at the last minute.
This is general self-help book rather than something specifically written to help you manage your time or avoid procrastination. There are over 100 very short chapters and many of them seem out of place.

There are frequent mentions of coaching associates of the author and how great they are and how everything is done with loving kindness.

Having looked some of them up, there seems little evidence of much actual achievement other than being a coach. I was quite impressed by their huge fees though.

There are just not enough real helpful tips and suggestions here. It is all very vague.

Maybe some of his earlier books are genuinely helpful but this should be avoided.

Edit: It is impressive that my review immeditealy got two negative votes. It seems that at least two people don't procrastinate.
