I, like many other people, am familiar with the majority of these tracks and after listening to the previews on Amazon I have ordered this album.

This collection has such an amazing array of moving, relaxing music arranged in an order which seems to flow smoothly. I like the mixture of modern tracks such as Girls Aloud "I'll Stand By You" and James Blunt " You're Beautiful" to older tracks that have stood the test of time like The Bangles "Eternal Flame" and The Jackson 5 "I'll Be There". There are also some artists which I am unfamiliar with such as Madeleine Peyroux and Imelda May, but I recognised the tracks as soon as I heard them.

The only down side for me is the repetition of certain songs that always appear on albums similar to this such as Ronan Keating "When you say nothing at all" and Eva Cassidy "Over The Rainbow. Do not get me wrong, I like these songs, but most albums I own with a similar theme and sound to this alway seem to include the same few songs amongst the collection.

This collection is an ideal gift for people who enjoy "proper" music and for those who find most of the songs currently in the charts unappealing.

This will be on repeat for the next few weeks and will no doubt drive my partner potty!!!! All in all this album is worthy of 5 stars.

It is worth noting that a large number of the songs featured in this "NEW" collection appear on the older version of "Time To Say Goodbye". Time To Say Goodbye At the time of writing the previous release is much cheaper and can be purchased from second hand marketplace seller for just a couple of pounds.

Despite the title it really was a present for a friend who has told me she has really enjoyed listening to double CD and she saw the funnyside re the title !!!

These 40 songs provide uplifting and delightful music ranging from Katharine Jenkins to Louis Armstrong.
From the moment that you start to play the songs, they will touch all the emotional bases that make up our journey through life.

I cherish this double cd and often allow myself to drift away as the music washes over me.

I recommend buying this exquisite collection.
