I must say first up that I am a huge fan of Steve Howe, and of Yes ..... since 1971, actually! And with solo albums, I have always been a bit tolerant. However Steve's latest album is "empty". On first listening, it is very gentle, and calming, with some nice play. But on subsequent listens, the songs become bland and pedestrian. There is none of the brilliance or power of Steve Howe's play. One or two of the tracks are pleasant to listen to, but are, sadly, immediately forgettable. I really hate to say it, but felt let down.
