Format: Hardcover
with a bedtime theme, from Piers Harper.

As the sun sets, it is time for bed but Snow Bear has far more exciting things in mind!

Strong BOARDBOOK format with 10 pages, in the popular 2-page spread format. Superb illustrations throughout with the opportunity to stroke the soft, furry animals in the velvety type material children love to touch!
The animals also have enhanced eyes to make them even more endearing!
Easy-to-follow, large and clear text - two sentences, on one of each of the two pages.

Example of text:-

'When the sun began to set, Mum said,
"It's time for bed, Snow Bear!"
"But I don't want to go yet," Snow Bear cried.
"I want to dance with Hare.".........

After another couple of suggestions, Snow Bear realises that Mum is right and a satisfactory compromise is reached!

My son's first bedtime story book - a simple tale of a little bear that doesn't want to go to bed. Lovely touchy pictures combined with a story that interests but doesn't over stimulate make this book an ideal introduction into the story/bed routine for youngsters as there is an easy link from snowbear being alseep to putting your own little one down!

We love his other books, but this one just doesn't fly with me. It is 12 pages long, but there is virtually no text. If you are looking for a book to read to your child before bed I honestly wouldn't advise this one! Look at some of his other titles like Little Panda, Little Rabbit, Snow Bear etc.
