Fantastic book 28 Jan 2007
Format:Paperback
A sublime description of the archetype of Time as experienced by humanity throughout the ages from the early Greeks and Chinese to modern quantum physics. Seen from the perspective of Jungian psychology she draws together the different concepts of Time in a cohesive and erudite manner. Her writing manages to convey the idea of Time, both in its mysterious and mundane aspects and get across complex ideas to the reader in a clear and logical way. Weaving a rich tapestry, she is able to draw from all areas of thought: mathematical; philosophical; and religious. She is truly one of the great thinkers of our age and this beautifully illustrated book is a must-have.

Great value 1 April 2011
By N. Hall
Format:Paperback
Great little book - and obviously very visual, which is good given the importance of the 'symbolic' in the subject matter. Thin, as one reviewer, says, but produced to a high quality and very very dense - not an easy book to read through in one go! Plenty of material to go back to, and no right or wrong answers (which i find refreshing in this day of "self-help"/conspiracy etc. books that purport to know it all), but a work of great scholarship that provides an 'abstract' of source material, and invites us to share in the mystery.

Not Worth It 25 Oct 2009
Format:Paperback
This book was a real disappointment for me. Very thin, paperback.
Part of a series, it has little depth and touches only briefly on most topics.
