Book Description

What if everything you believed about what your father did in World War II turned out to be a lie? What if he was not a victim of the SS, but a war criminal? That’s the truth that history professor Bram McCoy begins to discover when he is called upon to help Justice Department Special Agent Kate Crockett solve a series of unusual murders. What Bram and Kate learn will make them question everything they know about the final days of the Third Reich. The key to solving the murders lies in Bram’s past. Together, they must stop a killer before he can change the future. And time is not on their side.

Let me say I was looking for a book of this genre for a while but it lets down on all levels. The premise is excellent but the writing is stilted, the names of the fictitious Nazis are stupid and there is no reason really given for anything.Very poor indeed

An excellent book with a good story to it. I would definitely recommend that you try it as it has Nazi's, time travel, mystery and a bit of action too.

3.0 out of 5 stars ok read for fiction 30 Jan. 2014

Enjoyed the story. I only wish Mr Healey would have left his personal left leaning politics out of it. Bad mouthing Bush, Fox, America and praising the usual progressive suspects, New York Times, Kennedy. A little bit more reading up on the politics of the Nazi party might have been in order here, as well. Mr Healey being a "journalist" should have tipped me off.

2.0 out of 5 stars Okay, but 11 Feb. 2013

There was a decent premise here but the execution was lacking. The characters were two-dimensional and the book dragged along from beginning to end without much action or excitement.

appears to be an advanced reader copy. Full of errors to the point where I had to put the book down.
5.0 out of 5 stars Third Reich and Time 1 Sept. 2015
By KenGordon - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
This was a surprisingly good novel. The Germans were very advanced scientifically and we are fortunate they were unable to perfect their inventions before it was too late. The story dragged in some places and is somewhat predictable but not to the extent that I would downgrade it. I admit I did not like the ending but what is -- is. I admit I liked the premise. I wonder how the author would have proceeded with the idea of the "lost divisions" -- could have been really an interesting route to travel. That being said, I recommend this to history/sci fi buffs.
5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining read. 7 Oct. 2013

Just as the reviews stated that this book is very entertaining and never boring. From the time I started reading the book it was difficult to put down. It had a bit of everything in the story to keep you guessing and wondering how it will end. A good read and I will definately read some of the authors books in future.
