Beautiful guitar work 15 Feb 2011

I used to be into Michael Chapman back in the early 1970's and then floated off on lifes great journey accompanied by other musical influences. I've now mellowed again and returned just under 40 years later to enjoy his music again. It's nice to refamiliarise myself with this vastly under appreciated guitar maestro. He is just as superb as he always was. Well..........no............he's better and more accomplished on this album than on his early records. Well done Michael. All us ageing gits are falling to bits whilst you have improved with age like the proverbial good wine.

An album for winter evenings and a warm fire. Simple straight forward and about as down to earth as you can get yet with a very fragile tenderness to it all as well! Try listening to this with out feeling any emotions, you can't! Excellent new acoustic introductions to well known Chapman tracks but with an air of sit down and listen because this is how its done all the way through. The simple techinques used mean you feel as though your in the guitar listening to Micheal playing never mind in the same room! Very intermet CD and should be in your collection what ever you listen to!
