Much more compact than the big sister Time Out city guides Time Out Paris 19th edition that I usually favour, but brilliant for a short break. I particularly liked the shortlists of top places within each section - sights, eating & drinking, arts, shopping etc which I referred to a lot, and the fold out maps. A nicely designed and very portable guide.

This is a very compact guide, and as the other reviews state - very good at splitting out between attractions, eating out, shopping etc.
However, my main problem with this guide is that it's great if you have the space and time to leisurely read it. We however found it very difficult to use it as a practical guide to highlight the closest metro stations when we wanted to go somewhere from our current position.
The metro maps are segregated into areas - which is helpful if you are staying in the same place - but if you want to sight hop... then this is not the guide! Trying to find which metro station you need to go to in a busy station full of people when you speak little French can be challenging!
Great for places to visit though!

This guide gave a number of good ideas of what to see on a short break. It also helped to reduce the cost of our riverboat trip.
