Hello everyone!
I'm sorry to disagree with some of the review written about this blu-ray concert, but this is an absolute must for any Rush fan!
The band performs very well, with a lot of enthusiasm and creativity, and the audio quality is astonishing (the video quality is good, but between music lovers- it doesn't matter at all, the audio quality counts!!!).

Format:DVD
When I read all the negative reviews, I thought what a bunch of moaners. And then I put my DVD into the player. I got no sound either and was about to launch it out the window like my Test For Echo CD/Frisbee until I realized I had to change the audio settings ... and then all was well.
I then sat back and heard the perfect audio accompany the less than perfect visual. So this is what they meant about it being hazy/fuzzy/whatever. I must confess that it isn't HD, but was it supposed to be? It reminds me of '80s concerts that have been transferred from VHS to DVD and that is its charm. Even the intro video has an auditorium sound to it (all be it an empty one).
Time Machine has a 'being there' feel about it and yes its not perfect and yes although the camera angles are creative they do switch too much. But its warm and welcoming like a pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord at your local pub. Its not as clinical as S&A, nor badly mixed as R30: a bit like the 3 bears porridge; one was too hot, one was too cold, but this is one is just right.
So for those of you that still think its poor quality, just pretend you're down the front at the gig, watching the show through a haze of sweet smelling concert smoke, whilst clutching your over-priced t-shirt and already creased program. Because it is more than just a concert, it is a show ... and a mighty fine one at that!

Format:DVD
Stunning. I went to the Sheffield and Birmingham shows on the tour so knew that this dvd would be amazing. Voted the best live band in the world earlier this year and after seeing them on every tour since 1981 it was recognition long overdue. The show cant really be described as there isnt a word to express how incredible this band are. Only downer for me is the extras. Wont watch the live clips from the early 70s again and would have preferred more interviews or poss soundcheck footage. Not a criticism that affects the best dvd of any band anywhere in the world. Lights, pictures, everything and 3 of the best musicians you will ever see.

They've still got it.
I loved this live DVD. Wonderful performances, a strong set list and an incredibly enthusiastic audience. What's not to like? The "True History of Rush" sections are also lovely. Read more

Excellent Gig.
Superb sound/vision. Typical Rush gig, all the favourites plus some new ones from the as yet un-released album. Haven't heard 'The Camera Eye' live before now.
