SYNOPSIS: French animated television series which tells the story of the human body for children. The series consists of 26 episodes which combined entertaining story lines with an enormous amount of factual information, presented metaphorically. The depiction of human body is made with the help of animation of the different agents in it such as the Red blood cell, Bacteria, Viruses, the Nervous system etc. Every episode of the series featured a different organ or system within the human body.

Saw a snippet of this program on tv while on holiday in France- moaned that we had nothing like this on English tv then stumbled over this dvd set, on Amazon, which had the English dubbing on the French dvds. Was fairly expensive although this version was a lot cheaper than the other languages, eg German,that also included English options. To my eyes, aged 50cough, the drawings and storyline seemed dated, repetitive and tame but are FULL OF TRUE DETAILED INTERESTING EXPLANATIONS OF HOW THE BODY WORKS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. Do I regret spending so much money? DEFINATELY NOT - my 8yr old son was absolutely glued to the screen and came home from school each day to immediately request putting it on! He now knows a lot more about the human body than any of his primary school teachers (and probably most upper school teachers, as well) and after a lul of a few weeks is requesting to rewatch the series from scratch and this time I'm going to watch the whole set with him!IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT AND YOU LOVE ANYTHING EDUCATIONAL FOR YOUR LITTLE ONES THEN I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT - EVEN YOU WILL LEARN A LOT!

I remember this when it was on tv back in the 90s. Good educational cartoon that was fun and even got me a B in GCSE biology! Well recommended

Very good quality, delivered promptly and in great condition.The only negative is that the DVD menu is in French, the language of the programme can be changed to English but navigating the menu can be a bit tricky. Otherwise a great buy.
