I had thought this book would be a novel. It turned out to be more of a travel book about Rome so I returned it to you.

A gem 18 Mar 2010
By LKT - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I read this years ago before going to Rome for the first time. Elizabeth Bowen's writing style is beautiful and evocative of the setting. A wonderful book to savor on the way there. And to treasure time and time again.
