Having just seen Acker Bilk & Kenny Ball performing at a local theatre, this 'live' recording is as close as you can get. Brilliant!! A wonderful show from these 'vintage' stars and a thoroughly entertaining album. Even if you already have earlier recordings, get this one and you won't be disappointed.

As a latecomer to trad jazz as a 50-something, I have played this CD over and over again. I bought it at an Acker Bilk concert last week - first time I've seen him live - and it is just like being at the live performance. Unmissable and highly recommended.
