3.0 out of 5 stars Time to declare 30 Aug 2013
By Rob
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a fairly conventional autobiography of a test cricketer and Australian captain.
Taylor comes over as a pleasant intelligent man. The three episodes which feature most strongly are his struggles with the bat rescued by an Ashes hundred in England, his 334 not out equalling Bradman's Australian record and his retirement at the end of his career.

I don't think there are any great insights into events behind the scenes.

Overall quite a good read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fan of the man, not so much the book 15 Mar 2013
By Andrew Ebell - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The book was okay, nothing more and nothing less. It was just average in every way, I don't know if this will help any potential readers, but I found it didn't give me any insights into the man behind the book, rather just listed out his career.
