It is like a bad afternoon soap opera where the characters fill in the plot through the dialogue. The characters are laughable (but sadly not funny) and the stereotyping, and sexism, is ridiculous.
I can only think the author has something on the publisher. Never mind the fictional victims, the worst murder here was the English language!
