Product Description

Review

Annie Davison is an astute observer of life and its multiplicity of meanings. Her writing style is totally readable, and her approach to change is inspirational. An increasing number of us know that it is time to change. We know that we need to make changes in how we relate to each other, to the earth; to the modern economy and the material world. Spiritual teachers, and numerous self-help books tell us to live in the 'now', but few explain how to change, how to live in the now, or how exactly our personal and collective lives will be enhanced by doing so: If you are one of those who want to know more about living more effectively in this time we call 'now', and have deeper understanding of the nature of the changes we need to make and participate in at every level, then I recommend you read Annie Davison's book 'A Time to Change: A guide to life after greed'. --(Ruth White, transpersonal psychologist, spiritual consultant, channel and author.)

I have experienced Annie Davison's work as a counsellor, teacher and author with exceptional results. Annie's book provides an exploration of many new concepts that will affect our current world view. It stimulates new insights for those who struggle with fears of an unknown future, and for all of us who must focus on major planetary changes. --(Soozi Holbeche, renowned author and healer)

We're living in changing and challenging times and it seems there is no escape.

Life's unsettled and many of us are burned out with stress, exhaustion and anxiety. We're becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the status quo, with what we have, and how we live our lives.

If that's how you feel, and if you're searching for a new way to live then `Time To Change: A guide to life after greed' is the book for you.

Written in two parts, the first focuses on where we are now, while the second part is a practical guide on how to live in this changing world, with exercises included to guide and help you.

The book combines author Annie Davison and her channelled guides. Both have an engaging voice that makes the book effortless and compelling to read.

Within the introduction the author admits: "Channelling is an uncomfortable word because it has many connotations and misinterpretations."

However, any discomfort you may possibly have soon evaporates as Annie Davison deflates the `mystery', explaining that for her channelling is "being the modem, connected to a vast broadband network, and providing a ripple-down effect from the finest to the densest atmosphere here on earth."

This practical explanation reflects the practical style of the book that offers help and guidance on many of the challenges we face today.

The early chapters assess where we are right now, in this moment, then examines the big issues such as: global warming, ageing, the credit crunch, greed, humanity among many others.

Personal difficulties that many of us face include: anxiety, health issues, addictions, allowing ourselves to be happy, learning to acknowledge our truth, and taking account and responsibility for our everyday behaviour and responses.

With each topic the author and her guides offer relevant examples, enabling us to make connections in our own life, to begin to understand our behaviour, and how and what it is that `we do.'

This is a deeply meaningful book that you will want to read many times, and share with those you care about. Whilst the subject matter is undoubtedly heavy, to read it is as light and fresh as a summer breeze. The down to earth, conversational style feels as though you're sat having a chat with a close friend who makes you feel good.

The conclusion of the book leaves you positive and excited about your new life, a future that includes happiness.

"Happiness is the by-product of simplicity, kindness and respect for all other beings. Happiness is not the result of `having' in the accepted sense.... Happiness is being in love with Life itself."

If you're ready to embrace a new way of life, to allow yourself to be happy then I recommend you read `Time to Change' right now and open up to a new, joyous way of living.

I heartily recommend this unusual, fascinating, easy to read and uplifting book, which is the result of Annie Davison's collaboration with 'a different level of consciousness.'

As she states in her introduction, 'channelling' is an uncomfortable word because it has many connotations and misinterpretations, but for all that it is easy to feel at home with this clearly written, combined effort of Annie with her guides.

For anybody discouraged by the present state of the planet, this timely and optimistic book suggests a way forward.
