My Child wants us to read this book over and over again. Beautifully illustrated book showing all different animals and their mummies(or daddies) going to sleep. Rhyming text which all children seem to love. Fantastic present for any child 1 - 8!

I really like this book a lot, as does my daughter. I bought it for her as she was having separation anxiety at bedtime, and we usually finish with this book as the last part of our bedtime routine. It is really soothing, and the rhyming encourages my little one to join in and try to read along.

The reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because some of the colors in the illustrations are too blended in, which can be confusing to young sleepy eyes. I sometimes need to point out to my child where some of the baby animals are as they are a bit difficult to spot as their colors are similar to other objects on the page around them.

But a lovely, gentle read, perfect for getting a child to accept bedtime.
