I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present and he was very happy with it. It's warm but also reasonably smart, and well finished, so he can use it to go to work. The stile is perhaps on the slim side, so it's a fraction tight around the stomach and a portly 65-year old might find that they need an extra large size. Great array of pockets for all sorts of uses. Hood is not detachable, but one cannot have everything in life. All in all, a very good buy and it arrived the next day.
