I only found out about this album recently. I hadnt even sampled it, but had to have it. It is one of the best albums I have! The intro is brilliant and those who feature on the album arent half bad (Missy, Brandy and Timbaland's usual henchman Magoo). Even before the tune starts you can just feel the bass. Indian flute is a beautiful tune. The hardcore beats are nicely contrasted with calmer numbers such as insane and hold on (dedicated to Aaliyah). Magoo is on most tracks, I find him quite iritating after a while...but Timber mangages to hold him up with his genius and talent. Timbland has been and will always be on top of the game, never without a trick or two up his sleeve.

Timbaland is by far the best producer in the business with his creativity but hes been away a bit concentrating on his label but yet again he has surprised me with his genius. Back with him this time is his partner in crime Magoo who i think is very underrated and with the two back together they have come up with a great album yet again.
This album is probably their best their is not one weak track on this album. The lead of single cop that disc with Missy was a hot track and the beats as usually were amazing. But their second single with Timbalands brother Sebastien and Raje will bring Tim and Magoo the success they deserve.
Tracks on this album to look out for our Leavin, Naughty Eye, Shennanigans with Bubba and N 2 Da Music are stand out tracks and also Hold On with Wycleff Jean which is a dedication to Aaliyah.
With this album Timbaland reaches out for the credit he deserves as a producer in tha game which he asks for in the track Don't Make Me Take It There and from listening to this album this should bring both Tim and Magoo the success and credit that they deserve to have

Blatently another Phat album from these two great rappers. They somehow pull off a slower style of rap but leave songs going through your head over and over once you turn the CD off. I cant say which are the best songs because you just have to listen to it, there aren't any really that i would skip.
Hell, even the song with Brandy is good!!

5.0 out of 5 stars They at it again.... 18 Nov 2003
By Tamara - Published on Amazon.com

U can't fade tim and magoo, every beat is fresh and every ryhme is smooth. It's worth buying, don't be cheap and download. Gather some change and "cop that sh*t" ;). I've only had the c.d. for a couple hours, but some good tracks are.... well.. all of them... especially the second half of the c.d.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't make me break this thing down.......... 30 Dec 2003
By hiphopforlife - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I will break this review down into three parts:
Timbaland: Without question one of hip hop's top three producers(along with Dr. Dre and DJ Premier, sorry Neptunes fans). The man is a genius; his production is so wimsical and diverse. Just check his resume; he has done wonders for the careers of Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, Tweet and the late great Aaliyah. There are a number of super talented MC's our there(Ras Kass, Canibus, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, etc) and up and coming ones that would KILL to work with the guy. Which brings me to......
Magoo. There are three things a person will as themselves during their tenure on God's earth:
1. What is the meaning of life?
2. Will I ever find love?
3. WHY IN THE HELL IS TIMBALAND WORKING WITH MAGOO?
I will say this over and over again, this guy CANNOT rap! Is he a good friend of Tim's/ Is that why he's associated with him? It boggles the mind.
And now the album. The music, well at least the beats, are nothing short of excellent. This would be a hot album; MINUS Magoo. I would "Cop That Disc", but I don't buy crap, so I'll pass.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't make me take it there!!! 10 Jan 2004
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Now I been readin some of these reviews and I have to disagree with most of them. I think this the best album to date that Tim & Magoo have dropped. I have been a Tim fan since day one and this album is on point. I do agree that the beats are different, but how boring would it be for Tim to stay the same over all these years. Different does not mean bad, I love all the beats on this albums. And what surprised me the most was the lyrics cause I'm feelin them totally. Now if you have been followin Tim & Magoo all these years you would know that the lyrical content of thier album was the weak point, but not on this one. I can't say enough how I'm feelin this album, I even have people who have never really be a fan out there buyin the album cause they like it. And I hope Don't make me take it there is a single off the album cause that is the realist I have ever heard Tim come off on a track, and the thing about it is everything he say's is true. Also another notable song on the album is "hold on" feat. Wyclef, I could listen to that song all day.

4.0 out of 5 stars very entertaining 12 July 2005
By rdizzle - Published on Amazon.com

I have no problem with Magoo because he is no worse than Missy, who I can't stand. I am still playing this sometimes in my car because it is so damn entertaining. "Don't Make Me Take It There" and "Hold On" are very solid songs, and this is one of those albums you can listen to the whole way through without skipping any tracks because none of the songs are horribly whack. Nice beats as well. You should definitely buy this if you are a mainstream rap lover. If you into underground ish like I am, there is still something to get out of this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD 17 Feb 2006
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Amazon reviewers are usually pretty good.

This is definitely not the case for Anthony Rupert, this guy's got problems.

I would pay big money to put him in a room with Magoo along with his reviews for this cd and Timbaland's newer one, Indecent Proposal.

That would be great. Timbaland could use the beats that Anthony takes in his next track.

That would be a huge HIT.
