Book Description

Timothy lived a life only a psychopathic sociopath could enjoy and understand. When he was bitten on the first day of the zombie-apocalypse he turned the tides on a single-minded virus he affectionately called Hugh. Together they terrorized a city before seemingly meeting their untimely demise. Nobody could have foreseen his resurrection. Tim’s close call with death has done nothing to temper his missions in life, to live, to eat and to rule the world.
Tim is back and he’s an asshole.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great fun but not a classic. 11 Jun. 2013

Timothy was quite a memorable book in that it was one of the most disgusting, stomach churning books that a lot of people are likely to come across. Tim2 continues the story of Timothy the zombie clown even though it seemed like he had met a very abrupt end in the first book.

My guess is that Mark Tufo got a slight surprise at how well received Timothy was and decided to continue the story. How do you bring back the dead character though? Well, that bit I'll leave for you to discover yourself. I personally thought it was OK... not great.... just OK.

Once Tim has gone through his resurrection the trail of destruction, murder, mutilation, terror and downright nastiness begins. Tim has just as much sympathy for people in this book as previously but this time he is much stronger. He doesn't hold back in making peoples final moments their most miserable, horrific, painful moments. The tension often builds up before the inevitable blood and guts begin to flow freely as someone else becomes a victim to the evil Tim. That's where this book falls down a tiny bit. The first book was very short, (some may say too short). This book is a lot longer and at times seems to be a bit too long. Sections of it feel like they are tagged on to bulk the whole thing out. Luckily these sections are not rubbish in their own right but at the end of each one I was left wondering what the point of it was in the whole story.

As is Mark Tufos style there are small links to his other books. At one point I was expecting something to happen that was part of the Zombie Fallout books. This was because I thought I recognized where Tim was from the description of the surroundings. Needless to say, Zombie Fallout fans will enjoy reading this and spotting the occasional small links.

Fantastic restart.... Nice short reminder of what's going on without lots of preamble.
The story continues on with Timothy on his quest for food; which is anything moving, this will push your boundaries so if easily offended, then you clearly have not read Timothy #1!

Mr Tufo does a brilliant explanation of why Tim has Hugh and is Hugh/Tim hybrid and therefore different to the other zombies.
The additional psyche into the mix is amazing, loved all the funny names...still laughing at Clara-bell.

Mr Tufo is unrelenting in his characters total disregard for human feelings, which is amazing, in a sick sort of way! Emotional torture seems to be the new facet to his amazing skill as a writer.

Despite all the constant gore, and there is A LOT of it, not to the mention what happens at the other end of digestion, I found the football scene to be immensely gross and disturbing, more so than the munching.

The little flashes of pre Zpoc are really heart rending and just make the horror of "the now" that much more sickening!

I adored the subtle yet, great links to the ZF series for faithful readers.

I won't spoil it for other but Awesome Ending!

My only criticism.... Please leave the cats alone!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant follow on. 6 April 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Really enjoyed the first book & was surprised when there was a mention of a second book given the ending to the original. But so glad there was a second as Tim is back as sick and twisted as ever.

Not wanting to spoil the plot but this book see's a bit of a conflict between Tim and his guest, but you also get a glimpse into what a zombie thinks about and Hugh plays his part really well.

Mark Tufo has out done himself again, and even manages to include a connection to his Fallout series as well like he did in the first book.

I would like to think there maybe a third book by the way it ended, but that is all down to Mr Tufo.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another fine Tufo outing 14 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
As a big fan of the zombie fallout series, I decided to buy Tim and Tim 2 together. While I enjoyed Tim, I felt it to be a bit short, so had high expectations of this. And I wasn't disappointed. Continuing on from where the first book left off, we rejoin the anti-hero of the first book, as he discovers more about Hugh, the being that he shares a mind with. On the way we learn more about what makes Tim the person he is... For better or worse!

Picks up where Timothy left off and if you liked the first book then you will love this.Mark Tufo really has taken gore to another level and puts even Richard Laymon in the shade(never thought i would say that).
If you like horror, zombies or even find bowel movements funny buy it,read it,laugh at it.You will not be disappointed.

3.0 out of 5 stars ok, but not as good as the first one 13 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I love all of Mark Tufo's work and read it all as soon as it's released.
Tim2 is still a good read, but not as enjoyable as the first one, although the unexpected ending points to a potentially interesting Tim3?
