Review

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: 5.0 out of 5 stars Tignes made simple, 31 Oct 2005 By A Customer I'm not much of a skier and I'm even more of a Tignes apres-ski virgin, having only ever skied in Switzerland before last year. This guide made my week even better than I had hoped. I cannot say that I visited all the bars, but once we had found a few we liked, we were more than settled - which helped as we spent the first few nights dashing around not really knowing what we were doing! If you're off to Tignes/Val D'Isere then get a hold of one of these guides! --d.g.a

I bought a Mad Dog Guide for Tignes and it was the best purchase I ever made! It really does cover EVERYTHING you need to know about skiing in the area. The info, in particular for familiies, was simple and informative and certainly made my life a lot easier. It contained so much information on where to go and what to do and yet it was small enough to carry around in your back pack whilst skiing. It even advises which route to take for different levels of skiers. Well Done Mad Dog ! --Kelly Champion

Skiing holidays can be a bit of a slog sometimes - especially when your tour operator doesn't tell you your hotel is a long walk from the slopes. Luckily, with this guide, we found out the bus routes and times and loads of other useful info which made life a lot easier. Next time we'll book our holiday independently with the tips and contacts in the guide. Thank you Mad Dog! --Nancy Braithewaite

First Sentence
We'll admit that Tignes is not the most beautiful resort in the world but if you want a chocolate box experience, then you should think about skiing somewhere else. Read the first page
