4.0 out of 5 stars Ashley has a secret. Her tag name is CINDY, 28 July 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Tightrope (Paperback)
Ashley sprays graffiti on walls. Someone knows her secret and frightening things begin to happen...someone is stalking her. She is terrified and is persuaded to ask Eddie for help, but first of all she must perform tricks for him.

Eddie is the "Ringmaster" a sort of Gangland Boss, manipulative and I didn't like him at all, he gave me the creeps. What is his game?

Ashley who is about 14 years old is having a tough time, her father is dead and she is looking after her severley arthritic mother. Her twin sisters are being cared for by her Aunt and Uncle. Life's not much fun for her at the moment.

I was quickly drawn into this menacing story and I didn't want to put it down. I also liked the way we read the private thoughts of the other characters.

4.0 out of 5 stars A girl who is being stalked by someone, 15 Feb 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Tightrope (Paperback)
It was quite good but the ending wasn't very interesting and it wasn't that realistic. The storyline was good though and it was exciting so it made you want to keep reading. My favourite character was Eddy because he was good at doing imatations of people. There were no characters I didn't like. The way it was written was very good and I'd recommend it to most teenagers.
