For those who don't want too much of a technical description but plenty of photographs this is the book for you. Tom Jentz is an authority (possibly THE authority!) on the Tiger tank. For this volume he has chosen a superb set of photos covering the Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 tanks. Some photos are quite well known but others are more obscure. The book gives an easy to read back ground to how the Tigers battalions were structured and used in combat. For model makers there are plenty of inspirational photos. If you buy this book, you won't be disappointed.

An excellent book,just what I was looking for,it focuses on images of Tiger tanks in frontline action,great if you are looking for photos,just dont expect a lot of words to go along with them.

If you like armor, this is great stuff. Jentz is probably the foremost authority on the Tiger, and he shows it again here. It's mostly pictures, large format, but what pictures they are! Clearly captioned, they provide endless entertainment for the armor nut and the modeler.

Truely a photo essay of Tigers that all AFV modeller's will find something to add to their projects. There are hundreds of beautifully taken photos that had never seen anywhere before. If you are looking for detailed written info about the Tiger tanks then this is not the book for you. All the photos have some short explanations beside them. A must have for the WWII collector and the modeller. Top quality book.
