EA's PGA Tour series has been going for the best part of a decade now, most recently with the endorsement of the world renowned Tiger Woods. This latest version includes seven new courses, five new professional golfers (including Justin Rose, John Daly and Australian Adam Scott), and a new season mode that challenges you to obtain sponsorships from real golf equipment manufacturers throughout your career and drive to surpass Tiger Woods himself as number one on the overall money list.
One of the most interesting new features is the Create-a-Golfer option, which lets you design a golfer that looks just like you or, if you so desire, a grotesquely deformed mockery of your least favourite celebrity--the choice is yours. If you do well in the main game you can even win new clothes and accessories for your virtual golfer to wear.
Exclusive to the Nintendo versions of the game is the ability to connect the GameCube and GBA together, using a separately sold link cable, to transfer earnings and unlock tournaments and earnings multipliers. Whichever aspect of the game you're most interested in, this is the most realistic golf game ever made--until next year, anyway. --David Jenkins

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 is the next instalment from the golfing legend. TWPGAT 04 is the most comprehensive and complete golf game available and clearly shows it. Returning from the 2003 edition, there is the career mode where you are able to play a 52 week career mode for up to 10 years. The 12 courses from last year return along with 7 new ones comprising a total of 19. There is also a new world tour mode where you can travel around the world to win new players, clubs and clothing and cash as you progress. There are now five new players this year including Justin Rose and the legendary John Daly.
However, the biggest and best change from last year is that you can now create your own golfer, so that you can now put yourself into the game and play against the world's best. Another excellent feature of the game is that using the Gamecube's internal Hardware clock, certain PGA Tour events appear at certain times of the year, just like on the actual tour. There are now even more fun modes including Long Drive Shootout, Best Ball, alternate shot, Stableford scoring, Battle Golf, and my personal favourite, Speed Golf. So you have even more ways to play this time around. And don't forget that you can play all these modes with a friend so that means there's more ways to beat your friends too!
There is also the ability to link the Gamecube version with the Gameboy Advance version to transfer earnings and also to unlock more tournaments.
So to conclude, Tiger Woods 04 is the complete golfing game package with stunning gameplay along with stunning visuals.
this game is really wicked i knew nothing about golf and never watched it, but getting into this game is such a top idea, if your like me and like the games were you progress and unlock more and more and become amazing in time then this is the game for you, with loads of extras this game is not a short trip and a massive treck!!

Being an avid Golfer, I naturally love this game, I would recommend it for all who love Golf and you may even like it if you don't play golf but caught a bit of the Open on Television and weren't bored out of your skull.

If you are a mum or dad looking to buy this for your son/daughter, I would strongly recommend it, it is a lot better than the reams of trash some developers are churning out today to make a fast buck.
If you owned Tiger Woods 2003 though, wait for Tiger Woods 2005. 2004 is a great game but not revolutionary enough to buy if you own 2003. 2005 is out in september so resist the temptation and wait.
