I've waited a few years to upgrade from TW 07 since that seemed to fit the bill perfectly fine for me. I just thought it was about time I took a look at exactly what I had been missing out on.

Strange thing is - not a lot. The extra's that are here, I tried and just gave up on. Tru-Aim, can someone explain what it's for? An alternate view that makes the game eternally harder? Perhaps it's supposed to be more realistic? I played for the first week or so with the new putting method that is supposed to be more accurate. I found I couldn't get it right no matter what! I slight mistake and it was curtains. This actually almost had me seeking out 07 instead but then I discovered the means to switch back to older, more sensible method. After that I went from 3 putts to 1 or 2, which enabled me to finally get on the road to earning XPerience. There's another clever ploy by EA, we can either play lots of TW in order to earn XP to buy new equipment and improve our skills OR we can use our own real money to buy the equipment and therefore spend the XP on the skills. The inverse logic is that when we're first starting out the equipment comes in handy but after months of use and the skills have been improved to max, the equipment isn't such a factor. So when the equipment could really be handy, we can't have it because we don't have the correct XP level and those that we are able to purchase they've made it highly tempting to purchase with real dosh. Perhaps that's a way forward for pro's? As they get better, they have to use less advanced equipment. TW on the putting green with something from a crazy golf course!
The 'club tuner'. Again, what's this for again? I managing to win and haven't found any use for it yet other than to let friends have a swing before going onto the course.

I have bought the last 3 or 4 of these games and the question is whether to buy another one and if so, does it add anything?

So I have given this 5 stars as it is simply one of the best games around for PS3, that can be appealing to all ages and has a huge number of options as well as impressive realism.

But have they moved forward? Well the "big thing" this year in golf is the Ryder Cup and the option to play as any character on either side is a big bonus and USP for the game.

As people have mentioned - the usual method of buiding up your experience is still there - like an RPG of golf - you build up your skills or buy items from the shop which give you bonuses. I love this and it keeps you coming back - but can be a bit slow for many (younger?) people...?

However - if you play the Ryder Cup - you are straight in there at the level of the character you play. So, choose to be Tiger Woods and you are blasting your drives more than 300 yards from the outset!! Great for those who want to get in there and have fun with the game and be the famous players who will grace our TVs very soon, creating drama in the next USA vs Europe tournament in Wales!

I think this really has everything - the challenges are hard and the tour is demanding on a long-term basis - but the more you play, the better your character gets and the more satisfying it is, when you put together a good round.

I think that although there are limitations to the graphics, you do really feel as if you are there and immersed in the action, which is only apparent when you actually play it - not from looking at samples and screen shots.

It does feel realistic and there is so much to find and try out, that it really is worth buying, for people new to this kind of game and for those who have already bought previous versions.

Good day to you, I previously had Tiger Woods 10 which was an excellent game, Tiger 11 is excellent as well. One of the new plays this year is the addition of the Ryder Cup I just beat the USA and found it challenging and enjoyable competiting over foursomes, fourball and singles, only drawback is it dosen't show the overall score on the main screen so you don't know how close you are to glory overall good fun and not stinky at all!

The Graphics look amazing especially the water on the lakes and rivers yes you heard me right rivers! check out Wolf Creek which is a new course that event donald duck would like! The players graphics are rubbish compared with Tiger 10 Tiger looks nothing like himself he looks a bit bloated and haggered, he looked more real in Tiger 10 so thats a downer on this years, It has been a tough 6 months I guess for Tiger what with the revelations etc so I will let him off! Online is good as well. No longer can you always rely on 'putt preview' this time you have a focus circle the more you use of it the less likely you can use putt preview which is good as it makes it harder. Overall another masterpiece with the lacking of some minor things. Good show Tiger!

First of all The game is probably the best golf game on the market. I know there is not much competition out there but its still is a great game. In response to Zebidi, you need to install the Move patch to pair it with the Move. The Move also needs to be charged.

With the D-pad its excellent, 5/5. With the Move its not so good probably 3/5. Its all the stop start. You seem to have to use the D-pad aswell as the Move to play the game. It looks like the Move patch was rushed for the Move launch as some of the Move help instructions are not present. The swing is mostly good however a lot of times I make a swing it doesnt always go in the same direction but maybe thats why I'm not good at real golf.

If you make a lot of fresh air shots in real golf, you will here!

Regarding Draw and Fade, you cant use special keys (like the D-pad) on the Move to do it, you do it with the swing by turning the club and shaping your shot like a real pro.

The Move has lots of potential, I just hope we get it in TWG12 or hopefully via another patch from EA. I mean if they can make it work for the Wii version, the Move version should be way better. Still a great game. A def buy if you dont have a golf game already.
