The egg shakers are placed around tables in the Folk Club I host and used by the audience for participation when required. At such a cheap price it's not to much of a problem if the odd one goes astray. A great sound from these and such good value for money.

I bought this as a gift for someone with a sensory impairment and they loved it, it's hard wearing and as it is larger than other percussion eggs it's easy to keep hold of, I would highly recommend this product

These seemed pretty good value at just over a fiver for two inc postage. I wasn't disappointed. The picture is a good representation. The patina can differ as a result of the differences in wood grain but this is a nice feature. The varnish is well applied and smooth but I suppose you could always sand them down for a plain wood appearance. They each have a slightly different tone which also is no bad thing. I had assumed they would be the size of a medium hen's egg... they are actually more the size of a goose egg. All in all, very happy with them.
