Product Description

Rorie and Elsie's parents are missing, and time is running out. The mission to rescue them will take the girls on a dangerous journey, deep into the nerve centre of the corporate machine that is robbing people of their identities. Can the Silk sisters reach their mum and dad before it's too late?

About the Author

Fiona Dunbar was born in Hertfordshire. She grew up trailing around jazz clubs with her mother and her musician stepfather and left school when she was sixteen to go to Art College. However, the most creative expression she found around this time was making her own outfits to wear out to nightclubs. When Fiona realised she probably wasn't going to be a famous artist, she embarked on a career in commercial art, doing storyboards for TV ads. She also did illustration for magazines, notably Punch. Eventually Fiona branched out into children's books; she wrote and illustrated three of her own, as well as illustrating books by other authors. It was at this time that she met her American lawyer husband and moved to New York, where her two children were born. After four years Fiona settled back in North London and it was reading stories to her own children that inspired her to try her hand at longer fiction. She is now the hugely successful author of the Lulu Baker trilogy, the Silk Sisters trilogy, and the marvellous Toonhead.

Every one of these books racks up the stakes for the desperate Silk Sisters! Poor Rory puts everything on the line to save her parents in this, the third and final book of the Silk Sister's Trilogy. Fast paced and exciting with some extraordinary scenes....The evil mastermind revealed in this book really does Master Minds. If you've enjoyed the other books in the trilogy, this will not disappoint, it's clever and fabulous fun. I can't imagine why the cover of this book is yellow? Surely it should have been Tiger-Lily GOLD!

A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
Tiger-Lily Gold is the last of the Silk Sisters trilogy, and it brought the previous two books to a thrilling end. These books aren't really my usual genre, but I'm really glad that I decided to keep reading this trilogy. There are some really unique ideas and twists into this book, and although I usually enjoy books which are based on real life, I really wanted a happy ending for Rory and Elsie. I have previously read her other trilogy (Lulu Baker) and I've throughly enjoyed both. I think that these books would be perfect for anyone who likes reading (once you've read the first book, you will want to read the next!) and is aged 9-12. Overall, a fantastic book, and I would read other books which have been written by Fiona Dunbar.
