Product Description

Product Description

This fantastic double braced X-Frame Keyboard Stand is manufactured from 1.5 x 3cm metal tube, is fully adjustable in height/width thanks to the double circular toothed adjustment mechanism, and also come complete with securing straps that screw into the bottom of your keyboard (if your keyboard supports this function) to prevent your keyboard slipping off the stand and ultimately being damaged and ruined.
Rubber feet grips on the bottom of the stand ensure maximum stability, while a closed locking feature allows easy transportation and storage when not in use.
Adjustable to any height setting desired thanks to the innovitive adjustment mechanism that uses a quick-release trigger handle, this stand is ideal for playing both standing up and seated, supporting most full sized keyboards.
When it comes to the securing straps, a lot of keyboards, Yamaha models in particular will feature screw thread's in the bottom that allow the keyboard to be screwed to a compatible keyboard stand, preventing your keyboard slipping off. Made from double-strength rubber for excellent durability, the pair of straps simply loop round each top arm of the keyboard stand and screw into the bottom of your keyboard as shown in our image(s). There are various different punch holes in the straps to allow you to adjust the length/tightness, and once secured, your keyboard will be at far less a risk from slipping or sliding off the stand thanks to these affordable yet very well designed straps.

Pros: Solid metalwork, good adjusting clamp mechanism. It's a pair of toothed dish-shaped metal things, that lock together when you tighten the handle. Wide adjustment range - seated small child to standing adult.
Problems:
1)The top bars are not quite parallel, so the keyboard rocks a bit. I fixed this by sliding a piece of bicycle inner tube over the top par on the low side (left front), having first stuck some self-adhesive packing on the top of the bar. The inner tube hides the packing, and provides more grip against the plastic bottom of the keyboard.
2) Very vigorous playing makes the thing "clank" a bit. The spring-loaded pivot at the back is a loose fit.
3) Does not integrate with my Yamaha PSR-E333. I didn't use the supplied straps, as I don't want to bold the keyboard to the stand. As supplied, the keyboard slips around. I fixed this with the aforementioned inner tube at the front, and some high-strength velcro pads at the back.

Perfect for what I needed. It is now holding a very heavy Casio CT-460 with a Yamaha SY22 synth on top using a 2nd tier bracket, all seem secure and sturdy. Now just have to learn how to play the damn things..........

Bought this for my daughter's keyboard. Sturdy and well made, the only criticism is that the elastic straps can only screw into specific holes on the underneath of the keyboard so, are either a little loose, leaving movement, or too tight to fasten. It seems fairly secure though and hasn't fallen or been knocked off yet.

Great stand. Nicely made and very sturdy. Has rubber belts to stop your keyboard getting knocked off which is one of the reasons we chose it. Great value and quality.

I bought this for a Yamaha E233 to replace one I'd previously purchased for a similar price which was utter rubbish.

This one was a great replacement. It's very sturdy and well balance and easy to assemble.

Sturdy and solid keyboard stand. The securing straps are very usefu. It doesn't fit perfect with my Yamaha Np 31 as this piano is slim and this stand would work better with wider keyboard. Anyway it's good product.
