This is a simple, but effective tuning device. There are not to many buttons to get lost with. Just clip it on and tune. My daughter and I both use it for the violin and guitar. It is fast simple and effective.

This smart little tuner arrived within 2 days of ordering and is very simple to use out of the box. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is that the manual does not fully explain what the buttons do. The manual says top button is for "select half note flat tuning" whatever that is, but the small display icon changes from c to g to b to v to u. I don't understand what that means. However if you just leave it as it comes out of the box (displaying c with A=400) it runs in "automatic" mode.
The lower button "changes" A from 440 to something you choose, presumably if you want to play along with a piano/band that is out of tune? To get it back to 440 you keep pressing it while it increases to 450 then it drops to 430, then keep going til it gets back to 440. Again not explained in the manual but it's not rocket science. Improve the manual and it's 5-star!

This has done me wonders since i got this in the mail, this makes tuning a lot easier and more accurate from what i can hear. It does standard and off tuning, "C" "F" ect... When the string is not in tune the led screen goes to a browny color, and when the string is in tune the screen goes green.

cheap and cheerless

can't use it
