5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing band 5 Mar 2008
By gbruin - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Ties That Bind is a great great song, and is probably more representative of its album, Blackbird, than the first single, Rise Today. But Blackbird is THE best album by ANY band in years, so everyone should have it in the first place. The value of this single is the B-side, The Damage Done. Mark Tremonti said The Damage Done was left off Blackbird so the album wouldn't sound "too metal". That tells you about the song. Great shredding, great vocals, great melody on a heavy heavy rhythm - and like all AB songs, a great message. In short, it's Alter Bridge, and that makes it a must have.
