i came across hard-fi after reading a wired magazine review promoting the release of their ep, and went right out to buy it. amazing single, and i can honestly say that i bought this album the day it became available at my local record store. they've been described as a cross between The Bravery and The Clash, and that's a pretty good representation. a fave of the emo crowd (whatever that means), tied up too tight is, i think, the best song on the album, and really showcases this band. i'd put them in the same genre as bloc party, bravery, kent, and the swath of new bands reinvigorating the new wave moniker.
