Another variant on the Ticket to Ride game, this time aimed at providing an exciting game for only two or - at most - three players. This is an expansion game which means that you need already to have one of the three games in the series: you need sets of trains, scoring markers, and the train car cards.
The rules have been tweaked again, but not so radically as to make the game too different: the changes are mainly regarding destination tickets and locomotive cards. The concept of tunnels re-appears from the Ticket to Ride Europe game, and links to neighbouring countries arises from the Marklin (Germany) version.
We thoroughly enjoy playing all versions of this game, including this one. The only piece of advice I would give the novice is to note that the links between the more populous north of Switzerland and the mountainous south are very few and these links can hold the key to winning.

This is by far the best version of TTR, and not a bad price either :)

As the original game was 'my first' I guess it'll always be my favourite but this is just as much fun and it makes a refreshing change to 'visit' other places;-)(remember to make sure you already have the carriages).
