Tarthang Tulku does it again, he manages to get the western mind to understand the Buddhist philosophy without preaching or confusing. Meditation can be difficult enough, you need a guide book and not a rule book of dos and don'ts ! This book does just that, this is definitly a gentle finger pointing at the moon !

This is simply a wonderful book, from the minute I start reading I felt at peace, this book is written in a way so that everyone can understand it. You do not have to be a buddhis to enjoy this book. The knowledge in this book is based on peace. I wished for people all around to the world to have this, if they did there wouldn't be wars.

The short stories are fun to read and my fav. is the story of the brothers and the hot rock.. on page 75.I found the layout to be easy on the eye and it's not heavy. It is a well thought out books. The exercise are easy, you don't need to go out and buy special gear to do them and once you start to do the exercises you life will start to change slowly.
We live in a fast moving age, where your daily activities are stressful.
Taking the time out in the morning before work to do at least one exercise from this book. will help you change..Thank you to the Author. Peace and Blessings to you.
