5.0 out of 5 stars Good value 27 Feb 2012

I had been searching for a singing bowl for some time as a gift for my son but they were always so expensive. This is an attractive bowl and well presented. Having tried-out many bowls in the past I wouldn't say that it has the best sound and it's far from soothing, but you get what you pay for and I was more than happy to buy this bowl at this price. Very good value but don't expect beautiful music!

4.0 out of 5 stars Clear Singing Tone 31 Mar 2013
By Sentinel TOP 500 REVIEWER

This little singing bowl, which we bought for our meditation sessions, has a beautiful singing tone if you circle the bowl (as instructed) with the stick provided. Otherwise, a single strike gives a single, ringing tone which is ideal for meditation sessions, as the tone dies gradually away. It comes packed in a charming natural paper box, with a cloth to hold it in the hand, and brief instructions for use. Delivery was efficient and personable. The only slight disappointment was that the bottom of the bowl was marked inside, though this flaw didn't affect its performance.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Tone though could be better.
The tone of the singing bowl is very nice but it does feel a bit rugged and cheap. Does help with my meditation though. Good buy overall..

The brass bowl is reasonably priced and provides a clear and beautiful start and end to meditation when tapped. It is loud enough to use in groups in a big room as well. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars singing bowl
The bowl supplied was a brass singing bowl and not a copper singing bowl, this is in contradiction of trade description legislation

Packaging can be considered either 'rustic' looking or a bit grubby. I prefer to think the former. Bowl makes some lovely sounds - you have either hit it with the beater or stroke... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Small, but strong
I was quite skeptic that it would work good. When testing it I was very surprised to hear the right frequencies. It is very well tuned and it does a great job. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Goodish
This does make a beautfil sound when done correctly but even when doing it correctly there is a scratching noise at one part. I think this is due to the uneven wood on the stick. Read more
